CS-054: Boiler Steam Flow Distribution
This case study used Flownex to investigate flow distribution in a new-generation John Thompson MicroGen Boiler. Steam circulation, vital for efficient production and tube longevity, was assessed in a collaborative research project with ATPRoM and John Thompson, using a 1D Flownex model. The study offered valuable insights into flow distribution and membrane metal temperatures, confirming adequate flow distribution in the MicroGen boiler.
